As a cultural ambassador, you will help leaders model our core company values (the Mars Five Principles), foster a growth mindset, and act as a trusted advisor to teams. You will identify HR-related opportunities, recommend pragmatic solutions, and support daily operational and project-based HR activities.

What are we looking for?

  • Experience: Ideally 4+ years of academic and/or practical experience in HR, with initial exposure to HR business partnering (including previous internships or apprenticeships).

  • HR Knowledge: Good foundational understanding of HR strategies, local labor legislation, and compliance policies.

  • Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with diverse, international, and remote teams.

  • Languages: Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.

Preferred Experience:

  • Prior HR Business Partnering (HRBP) experience in a multinational or diverse corporate environment.

  • Experience supporting business transformation or organizational change management is a major plus.

What would be your key responsibilities?

In this role, you will interact with diverse stakeholders, including senior European business leaders, international HR teams, Centers of Expertise, shared services, Legal, and external partners (for training, recruitment, and coaching).

1. Strategic HR Business Partnering

  • Lead the HR Agenda for key regional functions: Finance, Corporate Affairs, and Strategy Reinvention & Deployment teams.

  • Partner with the Senior P&O BP to drive business performance through tailored workforce planning, talent strategies, and change management.

  • Act as the Voice of Employees (Associates), bringing external and data-driven insights to the HR team.

  • Participate in high-impact regional and global HR projects.

2. Culture, Engagement & Change Management

  • Promote our corporate culture (including our Five Principles and signature employee programs) and coach team managers to model inclusive leadership behaviors.

  • Advise Line Managers on driving employee engagement, utilizing feedback from team surveys, and building effective impact plans.

  • Upskill people managers by coordinating leadership training, coaching opportunities, and engagement events.

  • Embed High-Performance Collaboration (HPC) frameworks within teams to enhance effectiveness.

  • Guide managers and employees through change and transformation initiatives.

3. Operational & Regional HR Support

  • Prepare job offers and employment contracts for direct hires.

  • Support managers with HR tools and systems, particularly on Workday (processes, troubleshooting, and training).

  • Support new joiner onboarding to guarantee a seamless integration experience.

  • Design and consolidate HR presentations, reports, and strategic workforce plans.

What can you expect from Mars?

  • As Associates, we can expect to be respected, supported and valued as individuals, to be treated fairly and equitably.

  • As a Mars Associate, you’ll love the fact that learning never stops.

  • You will work in a multicultural environment (more than 40 nationalities) and where your dog will be welcomed by more than 100 other Associates’ dogs at the office!
