Accountant I-B3 is responsible for several key accounting processes. These relate to general accounting, general ledger recognition, period end close, tax compliance, control of intercompany transactions & cross-charges, maintenance of our Credit Card online Cash Management system, and supporting and mentoring our Accounts Payable Officer.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance;

  • Professional designation (CPA, CMA, CGA, CA) is an asset;

  • 2+ years of accounting experience in a medium to large sized organization;

  • Experienced in operating an accounting system;

  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices is required.

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Ensuring the accuracy of financial results and the integrity of financial systems by supporting Accounting Processes and adherence to Company Policies and Procedures;

  • Champion Intercompany activities with other Mars units both locally and globally;

  • Manage promotional modules and partner with the Marketing Department to set up promotions and monitor their performance;

  • Managing end-to-end banking infrastructure and credit card and PCI (Payment Card Industry) facilities;

  • Continuous improvement of the accounting and financial recognition processes of the business, providing recommendations as required;

  • Leading RPA project (Automation) for Banking Management and Key Account Reconciliation.
