Location: Aimargues, France - near Montpellier (Occitanie region), with easy access to the Mediterranean coast and major transport hubs.

Segment: Royal Canin

Type of contract: Permanent

In your role as a Product and Process Implementation Engineer you will work as a Change Coordinator to efficiently deliver the circular pack transition at site level, helping the company on having sustainable and circular packs common for all our sites within France and with a transition vision for European markets.

Furthermore, you will manage day-to-day mission based on the day-to-day pack sustainability.

The job is to be a “catalyst for change” and you will initiate and drive game-changing workstreams to optimize our cost-to-serve for our customers and support Mars to become a more efficient, agile and lean company.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Economics

  • 3+ years of experience in Production or Supply Chain roles

  • Knowledge of internal manufacturing and major business processes, FMCG would be a benefit

  • Significant change management experience

  • Understanding of improvement tools as SIXSIGMA, Kaizen, 5S

  • Ability to work cross functionally with Senior Leaders and stakeholders

  • Track record in leading step-change initiatives / Best practice roll out

  • Eager to analyze and inspired by maximizing value

  • Fluent in English

What will be your responsibilities?

Trial support reporting and continuous improvement:

  • Lead and support the trials, technical improvement modification according to the regional plan aligning with factory production plan.

  • Create local project dashboard: define the KPI to measure the project success and set targets, periodic update and analysis.

  • Build actions plan according to KPI deviation, measure actions efficiency.

  • Support QFS team to answer customer complain related to circular pack.

Master data & system:

  • Animate Master data validation workflow at factory level.

  • Ensure MD update on demand planning, MPS, matrice file.

Packaging material switch planning:

  • Manage planning: build, communicate, revise the plan, and assess impacts.

  • Perform risk assessment and facilitate decision making or escalation.

  • Ensure compliance rules and switch strategy.

Circular solution:

  • Improve current pack waste disposal. Define the road to circularity.

  • Organize pack waste collection on shop floor.

  • Manage disposal or finished goods and Packaging material left over according to company rules.

Ensure effective communication:

  • Build a strong communication plan to get align with stackholders.
