The KAE will be directly accountable for managing around 50 customers. He/She will be in charge of implementing a customer centric approach embracing and developing different profiles, creating personalized solutions to satisfy these customer’s demands while building a more efficient and effective business with DDM manager. This function play a key role for developing key customer both commercial and key opinion leaders profile.
Is constantly working on mastering the benefits of our portfolio, its particular technical strengths, and competitive advantage in order to create strategies that will allow to position our brand as the Reference in Key Customers, particularly working on Drive territories. This position is in charge to ensure that Sales flow processes are followed including initiatives across DDM Monterrey.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead short and long term strategy of the Key customers at Monterrey in direct distribution
• Ensure the effectiveness of sales operations and aim at overachieving objectives of Key Customers.
• Propose, create, accomplish, measure and ensure results of Key Customers, aligned with Royal Canin and strategy, planning, budgeting and measuring investments and activities.
• Secure specialized business by consistently delivering exceptional sales results and profitability
• Act as a touch point center of expertise for knowledge transfer, training for Sales and Trade Marketing teams and for customers focusing on sales capabilities and best in class activations.
2. Strengthen Customer and Key Opinion Leader relationships.
• Implement regional strategies concentrated on adapting our portfolio offer and services delivering tailor-made plans for customers ensuring perfect execution.
• Assure that appropriate yearly agreements are done with Key Customers and continuous growth and engagement is delivered by them.
• Implement best practices aligned with DDM Manager.
3. Full accountability of Key Customers P&L and its long term development
• Assume overall responsibility for control of the P&L, its trade budget and analysis of ROI.
• Develop and execute incentive acceleration programs to achieve stated objectives regarding revenue, profitability and market share.
4. Yearly plans and building block generation for fueling local growth & profitability at Mars, Lead the development of the Key Customers, its strategic planning and deployment including field force activities working along with VET Marketing Manager. Collect business insights data based and deliver innovative proposals.

Job Specifications/Qualifications
MVZ or Administration-MKT with proven experience in pet market.
Previous experience of at least 3 years as Sales Consultive Associate, dealing with Key Customers.
Master Sales skills and capabilities including demonstrated ability in conducting demand planning, establishing client oriented action plans, leading numeric distribution, KPI implementation and follow up, and measuring ROI.
Requires strong verbal and written communications skills in Spanish and English (French a plus) Capable of Standing alone.
