Job Description:

PIMS Specialist

New York, NY

Franklin, TN

Creve Coeur, MO

Hybrid (3 days on-site)

As a PIMS Specialist for Royal Canin North America, your focus will be on Marketing Product Information Management (PIM) and Marketing Asset Management (MAM). In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our PIM across to ensure consistency, accuracy, connectivity and efficiency ensuring a premium end-to-end consumer experience.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelors degree required

  • Minimum 2 years of experience

  • Proficiency with Salsify or other similar PIM systems (e.g., Akeneo) and related tools.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft 365 tools.

  • Previous project management experience

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

  • Experience with e-commerce platforms.

  • Familiarity with product data standards and taxonomy.

  • Familiarity with SEO best practices.

  • Marketing experience a plus.

What would be your key responsibilities?

  • Collect, organize and maintain marketing product information and digital assets within the company’s PIM system (Salsify)

  • Ensure product data is up-to-date, consistent and connected across other data platforms (Akeneo)

  • Create and manage business rules, processes and workflows for product data collaboration and governance to support standard work and quality improvements.

  • Collaborate with portfolio managers, Marketing and other key stakeholders to gather, validate and ensure completeness of required product data.

  • Manage and configure the PIM system to meet organizational needs, including setting up workflows, data fields, and integration points.

  • Continuously assess and enhance the PIM system’s performance and functionality to support objectives.

  • Conduct regular audits of product data within PIM system to identify and correct inaccuracies or inconsistencies.

  • Conduct regular audits of websites to ensure accurate branding and product information is displayed.

  • Provide training and support to team members on PIM system usage and best practices.

  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position will include variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an applicant receives an offer of employment.

The pay range shown is applicable to all US locations listed within the job posting:USD 71,200.00 - USD 97,900.00
