Job Description:
PURPOSE:
Assist Q&FS manager to perform the QC function, assure QC performance compliance with the requirements of Mars Q&FS and Safety requirement.
This position is the key position of quality and food safety.

l responsible for performing analysis
l Assist the QFS manager with ISO documentation
l Coordinate the daily morning panel
l Coordinate the OOS, NC and complaint investigation
NATURE AND SCOPE
Job Content:
SAFETY
l All PPE must be worn in compliance with the Legal/RC requirements
l Enforce/Respect the safety rules and the internal policy
l Stop any equipment / operative works / external company works if safety/environment protection/fire protection rules are broken
l Guarantee and apply ISO 45001 and all related working procedures
ENVIRONMENT
l Guarantee and apply ISO 14001 (Environment), and all related working procedures
l Ownership of environmental responsibilities
QUALITY & FOODSAFETY
l Guarantee and apply ISO 9001, 22000, Mars Standards, and all related working procedures
l Support the HACCP program in the department
l Lead GLP-GHP in the area, 5S
l Inform shift leader of quality deviations according to product standards and production procedures
l Perform the oPRP’s procedure according to SOPs
l Validate all analysis results
l Responsible for auto control analysis
l Coordinate the daily morning panel
l Coordinate the OOS, NC and complaint investigation
l Collect Q&FS KPIs as for input to periodically management review;
l Any task as delegated by Manager
HUMAN RESOURCES
l Training: attend any training program as scheduled by company management and train any designed person in the position
MANAGEMENT & RESPONSIBILITIES
l Liaise with Quality & Food Safety Manager and Raw Material Quality Manager to ensure good communication and relationships with raw material suppliers
l Support continuous improvement of the laboratory and all related activities
l Develop and improve all internal interdepartmental relations and external stakeholders
l Updating management on Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)
COMMUNICATION & INFORMATION
l Provide any requested documentation to other Departments according to internal rules
l Communicate to all departments about rejected RM’s or RM’s placed on QA Hold
l Update KPI’s
Background Experience & Qualifications
l Higher education in food science, chemistry, laboratory, or similar fields is mandatory
l Good communication skills to liaise internally and externally, as well as to assist in motivating, training, and improving the lab team
l Sensitivity to the quality and food safety incidents
l Be Familiar with quality tools regarding root cause analysis, smart decision making, risk assessment and etc..
l Good computer skills, include office and other data analysis software.
l self-motivated, initiative, team player, odor sensitive and texture perception, depth perception, safety & hygiene & quality conscious
l Fluent English speaking and writing;
l Have the health certificate within the validity period
