Key Responsibilities

  • Build Framework of market insight study to guide strategy building
  • Develop and implement mid-to-long term portfolio strategies with overall RC China IVCP and OGSM.
  • Identify growth opportunities and potential risks based on market trends, consumer insights, and competitive analysis to shape future growth model and portfolio innovation agenda.
  • Work with portfolio team, VCO team and pillar team to Optimize current portfolio and balance core vs. emerging categories.
  • Drive new product launches, upgrades, and lifecycle management.
  • Work closely with cross function team to implement RC China portfolio strategy and improve overall business performance by optimizing resource allocation, setting and tracking KPI and sharing strategic insight.
  • To be the main contact window to regional and global portfolio and R&D teams to influence them for future collaboration and innovation agenda, especially for China local innovation pipeline

Job Specifications/Qualifications

  • Education: Master’s degree or above in Business Administration, Marketing, Strategy, Management, Market research or related fields
  • Experience: 10 years+ in Marketing, Strategy or 8 years + Consulting background(Prefer Pet, FMCG, Infant, Retail, Pharma or Ecom industry). Previous experience in regional/national strategic leadership roles preferred.
  • Skills: Strong strategic thinking ability, strategy building and deployment, analytical and market insight skills. Excellent cross-function and cross level communication skills, influencial power and leadership skills. Excellent in English and Mandarin, both written and spoken.
  • Other Requirement: Passion for pet and believe in Royal Canin precise nutrition concept. Pet owner preferred.
