The role works with Royal Canin Korea S&F (Finance) team based in Seoul and it is responsible for managing and overseeing the processing of the company's financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all aspects of Accounts Payable and Travel/Entertainment Expenses.

What are we looking for?

  • Royal Canin Korea is seeking for AP Accountant
  • University degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent job experience a must
  • Minimum 3 years of experience finance
  • Strong understanding in Accounting is a must
  • Business English proficiency
  • MS office proficiency
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Teamwork oriented

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Accurately process and document purchase orders, invoices, payments, journal postings, and account reconciliations in compliance with Mars Finance Manual and local statutory requirements, ensuring all transactions are recorded in a timely manner.
  • Review and approve Associate travel and expense submissions through the Concur system, ensuring adherence to company policies and proper documentation.
  • Periodic closing processes, ensuring accruals and accounts payable transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled in preparation for financial reporting.
  • Internal stakeholder management to ensure timely and compliant processing of purchase orders.
  • Monitor compliance with financial policies and procedures, ensuring that AP transactions are conducted in accordance with Mars finance manual and internal controls.
  • Manage VAT reconciliation and prepare related reports to ensure compliance with tax regulations and timely submission to authorities.
  • Withholding tax postings and reporting
  • Assist intercompany billings and reconciliations.
  • Ensure the vendor master data and vendor ledger is up-to-date by monitoring outstanding balances, processing payments promptly, and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Provide support for external reporting requirements, including the annual external audit and corporate tax return preparation.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements within the accounts payable function to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Provide training and support to team members and other departments regarding accounts payable processes and systems, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
