Title: Strategic Customer Lead- Royal Canin

Workstyle: Remote

The VCA Strategic Customer Lead will lead multiple touch points across the Royal Canin and VCA partnership with cross-functional stakeholders in marketing, commercial, supply chain logistics and finance. As the leader of Royal Canin's direct relationship with VCA this position is responsible for aligning resources available to achieve mutually agreed up programs to drive category growth and business objectives.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor or Masters Degree
  • 3 – 5 years’ experience managing accounts at headquarters level
  • Experience successfully working in complex selling environments
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (oral and written) to a variety of audiences
  • Excellent PC skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat)
  • Successful experience working in a cross-functional team environment.

What will be your key responsibilities

  • Achieve all assigned scorecard targets - GSV, NSV, Share, P&L, Mars KPIs.
  • Develop account plans & tactics that include volume forecast, resource allocation and profitability objectives to ensure the realization of account strategies and objectives.
  • Provide continuous feedback to improve current internal / external collaborative planning processes with the goal of achieving a "Best in Class" partnership with the Accounts
  • Managing assigned promotion budgets and fixed costs to deliver sales and activity plans within the budget.
  • Cultivate effective multi-level and multi-functional customer relationships, building customer equity and driving improved customer satisfaction, and business performance.
  • Identify business opportunities to achieve profitable sales growth objectives within assigned accounts.
  • Lead all cross-functional resources to meet the objectives of both the internal and external stakeholders.
  • Responsible for maintaining an effective and harmonious working relationship with other Royal Canin USA sales management and field personnel whose support is essential for success.
  • Actively manage and track competitive intelligence within the account and channel
  • Provide leadership, perspective and guidance to broader MVH Customer team in reaching business delivery goals.
