This role will lead/support the factory QFS team with daily monitoring activities, audits, reporting and investigations as needed.
What are we looking for?
Post Secondary student in technical field to support factory in daily Quality related processes.
What will be your key responsibilities?
1) Daily product review: You will be getting the finished products bags for the daily product review, inspecting the bag for any kind of tear of sealing issues, same with the actual kibble.
2) BAX file updates: You will be updating a file daily containing fines samples, and to confirm that they have a negative reading for salmonella approving to release the product.
3) Daily Hold Report: Every morning a daily hold report will be extracted from Itrack and will be sent to all RGU, Managers, Shift leaders and Plant coordinators.
4) GMP Audits: Will have to set up and conduct GMP audits around the facility periodically.
5) CCP Questionnaires: Will have to go around ask employees questions about the safety standards and protocols of the different types of CCP to see if they are fully informed.
6) Metal Detector Rejected Product Analysis File Update: To keep information updated in the metal detector rejected product analysis file such as type of metal identified and source of metal whenever a new product is caught with metal in it.
