The Reliability Manager is responsible for being the liaison between Maintenance and Operations accordingly to factory processes & TPM standards. This is the key role within Technical Team focusing on development & improvement of Maintenance, Equipment Reliability, & digital agenda accordingly to Progressive Maintenance & Asset Health Check Strategy.
What would be your key responsibilities?
Functional Leadership:
- Lead the team of Area Reliability Engineers & Maintenance Storeroom keeper to create & implement planned preventative maintenance standards to maximize factory performance and output accordingly to MSE standards.
- Lead corrective maintenance activities, actions and improvement to resolve high priority factory issues through the maintenance technician’s community accordingly to MSE.
- Coordinate resources and activities of assigned maintenance team and ensure reviews on efficiency and standards.
- Lead Reliability Projects and improvements to drive priority initiatives based on factory needs.
- Developing & implementing new standards accordingly to MSE Progressive Maintenance Strategy.
- Developing & being Accountable for Asset Health Check Agenda focusing on Equipment Reliability improvement and cost saving initiatives.
People Leadership:
- Line management for a team of Area Reliability Engineer’s; planning work and managing crew levels, conducting training, and ensuring that all attendance, performance and disciplinary matters are dealt with in accordance with company procedures.
- Building a high-performing team through developing associates individually and within the team.
- Developing associates through effective personal development plan management to ensure functional, team and personal development.
Strategical Maintenance:
- Reliability Manager will lead TPM (MSE) PM standards shape the maintenance strategy and drive the capabilities and performance for all Maintenance & Technical Team.
- Strong collaborating with Maintenance Team peers to lead and partner in maintenance technical strategy, asset performance improvement and asset investment based on MSE and AHC.
- Coordinate use of outside contractors and services in accordance do MSE DMS Cost.
- Manage work to ensure budget and reliability obligations are met.
- Ensure all work is done according to established safety and food safety standards, train technicians in fundamentals of maintenance and reliability best practices.
- Develop skill matrix for maintenance technicians / technical Team and perform or support functional training.
What are we looking for?
- Minimum 5+ year’s of professional experience in production, operations or maintenance work related experience.
- Master’s degree in engineering or Technical Discipline.
- Demonstrated understanding of maintenance and predictive technologies based on TPM (Vibration Analysis, Infrared, Oil Analysis, Motor Circuit Analysis, etc.), knowledge of CMMS and Maintenance Best Practices & Standards.
- Experience and execution in use of Cause Analysis tools (5 Why, Fishbone, BDA etc.).
- Practical knowledge and experience within technical field.
- Previous experience managing a small team would be a great benefit.
- Fluency in English.
