1. Digitalization/System/Tools Development and Deployment
§ Collaborate within Commercial team & with other stakeholders to define digital needs to enable Commercial efficiency and compliance improvement. Deploy global digital systems. Provide expertise and knowledge sharing in digitalization, system and tools development and deployment.
§ Lead or participate in global Commercial digital projects development and deployment (EOS, CORETO, etc.) via good integration of regional & global cross-function teams to ensure high quality and timely project delivery.
§ Regional Commercial Projects and Facilitate Sourcing Strategy Deployment
§ Representing Regional Commercial team in cross-functional projects related to Commercial Sourcing, Operations, or end-to-end value chain activities.
§ Support regional Commercial team with expertise and knowledge sharing in defining/ improving, deploying Category Sourcing Strategy.
2. Manage Data Analytics and Commercial KPIs
§ Manage APAC Commercial periodic KPIs of Quality, Financial, Service, Sustainability etc. via close connection with cross-functional teams. Manage Regional and Global reports.
§ Work with Commercial team to capture Risk & Opportunities to reflect the estimated landing PPV and DiB with clarity on action plans.
§ Co-lead AEP process with Sourcing Head and coordinate clarification for financial impact analysis (Commercial Effect, Volume Mix, Currency Effect etc.) with regional & global SME and Commercial teams.
3. Commercial Functional Competencies
§ Closely work with other Commercial Leaders to identify development opportunities for the Commercial team. Jointly craft development plans.
§ Benchmark with other Mars segment and market to prioritize new competencies to be built with Royal Canin Commercial.
§ Coordinate within Commercial/VCO and with P&O to get training resources. Ensure the entire Commerical team stay on track of competencies development.
4. Commercial Governance
§ Lead internal control for Commerical. Ensure excellent compliance to internal control policies.
§ Improve controls by optimizing processes and systems/tools.
§ Drive Commerical operational process standardization and optimization via SOP, CBA, SIPOC etc.
§ Arbitrate adjustments to RACI based and support overall change management, including prioritization and execution
§ Improve contract (MSA) coverage.
5. Partner with Sourcing Head to drive Regional DiB (Productivity) Program
§ Identify opportunities by deep diving into the business, understanding the market, analyzing formula and synergizing in the region and cross regions.
§ Establish, prioritize, and monitor progress of DiB projects with category managers and key stakeholder and ensure delivery on target.
§ Lead or participate in regional & global DiB workshops to build a sustainable DiB pipeline for 3-5 years.
§ Act as the champion of DiB Community for APAC region, cascade best practices from other regions or Mars segments for inspiration, and drive for APAC DiB best practice exposure in global communities.
6. Partner with Commercial Teams and Stakeholders to drive our Agile & Resilient Initiative
§ Deploy the new Resilience program within the Sourcing and broader Commercial Team including changes to definitions, processes and policies to support the Global approach
§ Drive risk mitigation activities including supplier developments, material consolidation opportunities and prioritization of projects against available resources
§ Track and report successes, obstacles and overall progress against our efforts to reduce single supplied materials and assure supply for future growth needs
§ Identify opportunities and implement solutions streamline processes, improve key metrics for success and maintain high engagement with key stakeholders supporting the program

The scope of this role is Regional Commercial and will be interacting with Regional and Global Commercial teams, factories, and other regional and global key stakeholders. The job holder will be a member of the Regional Commercial Leadership Team.
This job requires full commitment and active participation in Commercial community, coordinating with buyers, Commercial Operations and SQA teams to work on Commercial excellence topics, drive for new initiatives and best practices, help to shape Commercial roadmap regionally and globally, and deeply involved in key regional projects development/deployment.

Education & Professional Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or above in science or technology disciplines.
10+ years of solid purchasing/sourcing experience in FMCG, ideally in food/beverage sectors. Have received systematic training of sourcing strategy, purchasing skills.
Experience as a manger.
Knowledge / Experience
Able to create a vision by analyzing data/market and by getting inspiration from different sources and align with key stakeholders. Mobilize cross functional resources develop strategies and SMART action plan to deliver results.
Creative negotiator. Great TCO and excellent SRM skills.
Highly skilled interpersonal skills. Good at coordination of resources to do trouble shooting to achieve project goals. Experienced working in multinational and multicultural environment.
Good at data analysis, use of excel spreadsheet and ideally Power BI.
Good storytelling and impactful presentation.
Able to comprehend and effectively communicate the science and technology part of materials and process.
