A day in the life of an Associate

As our new Student Assistant, you will be a valued member of an engaged team who have the responsibility for driving mutual category and business growth in the Nordic region: Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark. You will become part of the Sales Acceleration team under the Pet Specialty Retail & Online department, where you will work to create insights and analyses to help guide our strategic customer initiatives in the service of feeding One Million Pets.

The job is part-time, approx. 20 hours spread over minimum 2 days a week.

The role entails plenty of personal responsibility, varied tasks and broad exposure in the organization. To be successful, we are looking for someone who can thrive in the detail-oriented arena of data management and analysis. At the same time, someone who has the personal and professional skills to communicate and contextualize the derived insights to colleagues and customers, and most importantly, is looking to learn and develop.

As a Student Assistant in the Sales Acceleration team, you will join an international category & insights team, who are in the forefront of driving mutual business growth with our key Nordic retail partners and you will work in collaboration with key account and marketing teams.

Key areas of responsibilities are:

  • Continuously update and maintain our key reporting tools (excel and PowerBI)
  • Analytics of data to optimize performance and sales strategies
  • Support on bringing launches to life in the Nordic region e.g. handling product information
  • Project management linked to your seniority and development areas
  • Overall assistance and ad-hoc in various tasks

Who are we looking for?

  • A driven and curious student who is hands-on and is not afraid to take action
  • A person who is eager to learn and to whom taking responsibility comes naturally
  • You are interested in learning about project management and analytics
  • A person who does not take themselves too seriously, but is serious about work
  • 2-3 years left of business administration, data science, marketing or equivalent studies
  • English is required and one (or more) Nordic language is a plus
  • You have a strong understanding and experience with Excel and Power Point. Any prior experience with areas such as database management or business intelligence tools (e.g. PowerBi) will serve as a plus.
