As a Strategic Sourcing Manager you will manage sourcing categories for Functional Complements (FC) and External Manufacturing products at a regional level (Asia Pacific [APAC]), defining the Commercial Sourcing Strategy for this category of products. You will be responsible to provide sourcing insights -including markets dynamics- to the Functional Complements Center of Expertise (FC CoE) Business Unit. Part of your responsibility will be to develop and ensure the deployment of the FC sourcing strategy in support of the FC business Strategy, focusing on driving the horizon scanning for new co-manufacturers for Asia. You will also manage regional initiatives by leveraging supplier relationships and strategic partnerships to drive standardization across Royal Canin.

What are we looking for?

• 5 years of experience with supplier/customer management.
• A passion for driving value for our business by leveraging various sourcing channels.
• Bachelors degree at a minimum.

What will be your key responsibilities?

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies using the Mars framework and the appropriate tools for the market category.
• Develop and implement regional contracts and related State of Work including securing price, volume rebates, capacity, and service levels.
• Build sourcing category expertise to provide market and financial insights and inputs to the operating plan.
• Implement the One Commercial Guide policies and governance protocols to ensure governance in supplier relationships and next generation sourcing.
• Drive the development and fostering of a collaborative culture within RC between our FC suppliers and internal stakeholders at regional and global level (Q&FS, marketing, R&D Supply Chain, Pet Nutrition), to ensure the business needs are met.  
• Lead the Supplier Performance Evaluation and drives Continuous Improvement in Performance in Asia.
