The priority of this position is coordination of the key account strategy of Royal Canin UK & Ireland in Pet Specialty Retailing (PSR) by establishing, maintaining, and developing the customer relationship with Pets at Home. With the goal of increasing sales and expanding RC share .
What are we looking for?
Development and implementation of a strategy designed to win for Royal Canin and Pets at Home.
The position will be the interface between Royal Canin and Pets at Home with the aim of developing a consistent mutual partnership.
High level collaboration and cross departmental working is essential.
An important requirement for this role is to work collaboratively with regional teams on Projects or to deploy category-building programs into market and launch innovations that fuel the Pet Specialty retailing growth
What will be your key responsibilities?
Maximize all business opportunities with UK & Ireland’s largest account Pets at Home: visibility Instore and Online, listings, e-marketing, promotions, VIP & media presence of the PSR range.
Management of all aspects of the customer terms negotiations, trade expenditure, advertisement and promotional spend, promotional investment, communication on new product development and any price list changes.
Development and Implementation of 3-year Strategic Growth Partnership. This will also include robust JBP planning and detailed execution plans to support conditional Investment through PAH VIP Club.
Budget responsibility with P&L management. Ensure the right Metrics are in place to monitor progress and take corrective action. Periodic reporting and updates circulated to PSR Director.
Forecast owner in DMR element of S&OP process to ensure appropriate sales forecasting and stock availability – to include any business areas of challenge for review and action.
Analysis and observation of the PSR market, competitors, customer needs and online market development with the aim of expanding the market position.
From time to time, you will be invited to lead or participate in projects that will be for the benefit of your development and for securing growth. In these instances, a supporting program will be put in place. Confidentiality around the project development and management will be required.
