Site Quality & Food Safety Manager (F/M/X)

Location: Aimargues (near Montpellier)

Type of contract: Permanent (CDI)

As a key member of the EU Q&FS Regional Team and the Site Leadership Team, you will manage and organize the local Quality & Food Safety (QFS) team to guarantee the production of high-quality, safe, and legally compliant products that meet consumer expectations and product design standards.

What are we looking for?

  • Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Food Engineering, or Food Science (Master’s or advanced degree preferred).

  • 5+ years of experience in Quality & Food Safety within CPG manufacturing.

  • Proven line management experience.

  • Strong expertise in QFS systems (HACCP, FSSC, ISO) and their deployment in manufacturing environments.

  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Lead the QFS Team. Build and manage the local Quality & Food Safety team, foster collaboration, and drive talent development and succession planning.

  • Champion Quality Culture. Represent QFS on-site and in regional/global forums, promoting a strong quality and food safety mindset.

  • Ensure Compliance. Define and implement site QFS strategy, ensure adherence to Mars standards, certifications, and regulatory requirements.

  • Monitor Performance. Track KPIs, manage deviations, and implement corrective and preventive actions.

  • Regulatory Liaison. Act as primary contact for authorities, maintain veterinary documentation, and support product export compliance.

  • Drive Continuous Improvement. Manage non-conformities, oversee complaints program, and lead QFS-related investments and transformation initiatives.
