Team:6 direct reports – Technical associates 32

Factory: 190 000T to yearly produce, 1500 SKU’s to pack

The Technical Manager (Responsable Technique) is accountable for safety, quality and performance of all equipment and technical systems on site in short term as well as in long term perspective. You will be also accountable for capital projects execution on site and contribute into the long term site development by leading site master planning process.     

What are we looking for?

  • Higher technical education. 

  • Management of engineering or maintenance team in FMCG business more than 3 years.

  • Line Management Experience (6-8 years) in a manufacturing/industrial environment.

  • Capital projects execution with budget more than 1M USD

  • Experience of work with Global teams/suppliers.

  • Maintenance supervisor experience mandatory.

  • Food industry or consumer packaged goods industry a plus.

  • Change Management / Project management Experience / Engineering experience a plus.

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Contributes to the continuing improvement of Safety, Hygiene and Food safety standards, and to ensure compliance (quality & safety) with such standards by Technical team associates (ISO, HACCP …).

  • Manages, engages and develops Technical team associates in order to achieve engineering and maintenance targets.

  • Technical Manager is a key team member In a factory management team. Therefore he/she collaborates with all managers on site from different functions (operations, HSE, R&D etc).

  • Delivers Maintenance contribution to factory performance through TRS improvement (planned and unplanned losses reduction) at lowest total maintenance cost.

  • Be accountable of reliability and maintenance strategy for the site to achieve operation excellence.

  • Allocates and manages resources to deliver the site performance (CAB & budget) and CI (Continue Improvements) projects.

  • Supports the factory roadmap in a matter of capacity, innovation and refurbishment through CAB investments.

  • Follows and supports Mars Supply Excellence process.

  • On regional level Technical Manager shares experience with other Technical Managers and regional engineering team.
