The Supply Chain (SC) Planning Excellence Director shapes and protects E2E SC Planning Processes, Supporting Technology and People Capabilities and Archetypes.
The scope of the role encompasses the full SC Planning process decomposition from Demand, Supply, Production, Material and Scheduling Planning as well as more advanced processes like collaborative planning, demand sensing, planning automation and E2E Planning outside the boundaries of our network (ext. manufacturing for example)
The purpose of the role is to work in collaboration with the regions and key markets to future proof SC Planning for the organization, ensure adoption of standards and assess maturity and ensuing deployment of capabilities.
What are we looking for?
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business & Economics, Supply Chain Management, or Operations Research (preferred).
Minimum of 10 years of experience in leading planning teams with a strong understanding of purchasing and logistics management.
Proven experience in leading transformation programs.
Strong cross-functional business knowledge and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
Fluent in English (French is a plus)
What will be your key responsibilities?
Direct accountability for designing and protecting E2E Planning process standards and building system capabilities to support these processes, as well as supporting regional deployments.
Manages a team of global Business Process Owners and leads cross-functional teams to drive a successful planning strategy and strategy deployments.
Owner and Custodian of the SC Planning Knowledge and the proper management of that knowledge together with Regional Functional Experts and Subject Matter Experts.
Responsible to explore Innovation In SC Planning and Digitalization / Automation of Planning where It matters most (ease for users and benefits for the company)
Responsible to coordinate regular SC Planning maturity assessment, align on roadmap to steadily Increase maturity of markets and regions and monitor adoption with adequate metrics.
In coordination with MARS SC Excellence Team, coordinate and/or conduct necessary training to continously foster new Key Users and SMEs.
Provides overall leadership, direction, and business process guidance for the functional area in scope. Operate necessary change management to optimize adoption of processes.
Owner of the Performance Management / Metric standards related to SC Planning.
Performs complex stakeholder management with senior peers, GLT members, general managers and market heads as well as senior leaders from other segments/divisions.
Adapts and executes business plans and contributes to the successof the VCO Global Supply Chain strategy.
When necessary operates with his/her as Rapid Intervention Team when crisis or business continuity management araise In specific regions or market
