As part of our mission to be “easier to work with” and “easier to work for”, we are looking for a Business Owner to drive the business vision and impact of two strategic programs:
B2B Webshop – our online ordering platform for partners such as veterinarians, farmers, and retailers. You will shape how this tool evolves, increase adoption across all markets, and ensure it delivers a seamless ordering experience.
CRM – our customer management tool used daily by our Sales teams. You will guide its business direction, ensure it supports commercial priorities, and help decide where to invest in new features.
In this role, you will lead the business strategy for both programs—defining the Picture of Success, setting priorities, building actionable roadmaps, and aligning KPIs to measure real impact. As the main business sponsor in the Agile project teams, you will work closely with DT teams (Digital Technologies), Product Owners, and local markets to balance global vision with local needs, making the right trade-offs to deliver maximum value.
Beyond product strategy, you will federate and energize communities of users across regions and countries—gathering insights, driving engagement, and championing adoption so that both tools become indispensable in daily operations.
What are we looking for?
You have 3+ years’ experience with B2B Webshop platforms and/or CRM tools for sales teams, ideally in a complex, multi-market environment.
You navigate confidently across diverse stakeholders—business, markets, regions, Digital Technologies, and Product Owners—speaking both business and tech languages.
You drive adoption and engagement by building and energizing user communities across regions.
You work autonomously with strong project management skills, setting priorities and influencing decisions to deliver business impact.
You turn low-visibility programs into success stories, educating teams and positioning them as showcases within the company.
What would be your key responsibilities?
Orchestrate the B2B Webshop and CRM product teams in alignment with the defined strategic vision.
Own the business direction of both programs and play a key role in defining priorities and core capabilities based on business needs.
Identify new opportunities for continuous improvement across other business teams and regions.
Manage program dependencies with other business teams (e.g., Digital Factory, PSR, PRO, VET, Customer Service, Media, Legal) and prioritize programs based on these dependencies.
Lead the B2B Webshop and CRM business communities.
Monitor program business KPIs and the Picture of Success, reporting progress to Global and Regional stakeholders.
Support the programs across Royal Canin by championing them in various forums (e.g., GLT, DLT, Demand Forums) to ensure they are known, understood, and supported.
Partner with Regions by analyzing market results with the help of Regional Functional Experts and Regional DT Leads, and provide recommendations for cost savings from sales efficiency, focusing on funding new capabilities.
