The job holder has the mission to articulate the resources available to bring to life our vision and mission as a Health through Nutrition Company with Mutuality at its core and our Purpose A BETTER WORLD FOR PETS. The main scope of the role is to:
· Build & protect corporate reputation (Issue & crisis management, Media relations, Community engagement)
· Build effective Health Affairs strategies serving the business
· Shape favorable public policy (Stakeholder engagement & advocacy)
· Inform & inspire Associates (Leadership & business communication, Internal communications platforms, Organizational change communications, People & culture strategies)
· This role leads and builds the strategic direction and leadership for Corporate Affairs in International Division (4 Hubs, 115 countries) through activities focused on Crisis Management / Business Continuity, Health Affairs, Public Affairs and Corporate Communications/Reputation and acting as the guardian of our external reputation while mobilizing Associates against our OGSM (Objectives, Goals, Strategies, Measures)
and strategy through inspiring communications.
· Responsible for the development of the Corporate Affairs strategy for International Division, including clearly defined objectives, initiatives and measures – in line with International Division's strategy and objectives.
· The job holder will also shape International Division's approach towards Health Affairs Management, building additional stakeholder relationships that are anchored around pet health and nutrition and positioning Royal Canin as thought leader in this space.
What are we looking for?
Degree in Communication, veterinary science or another biological science -MBA or master’s in science is highly desirable
Fluent English , French & Spanish is a plus
Minimum 5 years’ of experience directly managing teams
Experience in Corporate Affairs in emerging markets is highly is preferred.
Solid experience in managing communications
Proven diplomacy and advocacy skills to effectively handle relationships with importers & KOLs
Proven leadership, interpersonal and consensus building skills
Strong ability to work in a team environment
What will be your key responsibilities?
The main responsibility is to drive corporate and thought leadership reputation on Health Nutrition among our internal and external stakeholders.
Address Scientific Educational needs of International Division in support of Demand & the growth acceleration ambition
Develop a talent pipeline for the function.
Promote Associate engagement.
Manage proactively and reactively issues and crisis.
Promote an incredible consumer experience when they engage with us
