Combine science with sales excellence: are you our next Sales hero that turns market insights into immediate in-clinic impact ?

At Royal Canin, science is at the heart of everything we do in pet nutrition. But insight alone doesn’t drive availability or adoption. That’s why we’re looking for a Sales Associate who pairs a genuine passion for animal health with the commercial edge to convert great conversations into measurable growth. Are you the missing link between building trust and closing deals?

The Role

You will own and grow a territory of veterinary clinics. Your mission goes beyond maintaining relationships- you activate them. You turn scientific value into day-to-day clinic impact, ensuring our solutions are not only discussed, but visible, stocked, recommended, and re-ordered. You’ll build structured account plans, execute with discipline, and create momentum that shows up in both presence and performance.

Is bringing a great conversation into a clear “yes” one of your superpowers ? Then we’d love to meet you.

Royal Canin is looking for a Veterinary Sales Associate to accelerate our growth in Belgium. In this role, you blend scientific credibility with sharp commercial execution. You describe yourself as a true relationship builder and know the difference between a good meeting and a business outcome: strong conversations matter, but clear commitments and consistent follow-through drive results.

Your key responsibilities

As a Sales Associate, you are the face of Royal Canin in veterinary clinics across your region. You manage an existing customer portfolio and actively grow it. You will:

  • Visit veterinary clinics and advise on nutritional solutions.
  • Build strong relationships with vets, nurses and practice managers.
  • Proactively ask for commitment and close deals.
  • Ensure strong in-clinic visibility and distribution.
  • Plan your own agenda and maintain effective backup planning.
  • Spend around half to one day per week on administration and reporting.
  • Participate in monthly team days, trainings and sales meetings.

During the first 6 months, your focus will mainly be on French-speaking clients. Territory changes may occur in the future.

Who you are

  • At least 2–3 years of B2B sales experience with proven closing skills.
  • Strong commercial mindset and confidence in negotiations.
  • Proactive, independent and analytical working style.
  • Fluent in Dutch and French.
  • Good command of English as a business language.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Based in the Brussels / Antwerp region.
  • Experience in the veterinary sector is a strong plus

 What you can expect

  • An autonomous, high-impact sales position.
  • A purpose-driven, international working environment.
  • Comprehensive onboarding and development via Mars University.
  • Continuous coaching and training.
  • Competitive salary with bonus scheme.
  • Company car, laptop and phone
