This position is responsible for design, develop and implement new and improved products, packs, processes and raw materials, translating specs into actual running conditions on factory lines
What are we looking for?
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree with 1+ years experience in food manufacturing OR High School Diploma/GED with 5+years experience in food manufacturing
Analysis of data to drive continuous improvement in manufacturing operation
Demonstrated success influencing/leading others
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or closely related scientific or technical disciplines
Wet petfood process experience
What will be your key responsibilities?
New product implementation:
For product upgrade, is responsible of providing to the New Product project team the assessment of existing production performance, root cause analysis of the issue and analysis of the complaints at a factory level
Is a key contributor for MRA of new raw materials
Is responsible of industrial test run (preparation, realization, validation of the CSF, reporting). Organizing the GO/NO GO with Industrialization engineer, formulation and factories
Is the owner of experimental the product manufactured during the test (quality, validation, follow up till storage)
Is responsible of operational launch in the factory (provide specification, system update, team communication)
Is responsible of the first productions till the Qualification
Is responsible of the qualification review preparation for the factory (sampling, collecting analytical results)
Is responsible of the PDCA animation
New process implementation:
Is the R&D contact on site
Participate to the technical risk assessment of any new process projects on site and documenting the new process capability and benchmark data for new /process linked with new products development / deployment
Participate to the commissioning (design, realization and analysis) when there is impact on product quality
Is a key contributor to define new working instructions for the operators on site. In the case of RNS, this includes the current factory as well as the new factory currently under construction.
Be the process expert on site:
Support the Continuous Improvement manager in troubleshooting level 2
Ensure appropriated communication with the other sites to maximize efficient best practice sharing
Be the R&D contact on site:
Deploy and share at a factory level information related to innovation and product
Is the key contact for R&D associates in the factory for information, sampling, data collection.
