Key Responsibilities

  • Owns the End-to-End Supply Chain component of the EOS program with direct accountability for designing processes and building system capabilities to support these processes, as well as supporting regional deployments.

  • Manages a team of global Business Process Owners and leads cross-functional teams to drive a successful program execution.

  • Provides overall leadership, direction, and business process guidance for the functional area in scope.

  • Performs complex stakeholder management with senior peers, GLT members, general managers and market heads as well as senior leaders from other segments/divisions.

  • Adapts and executes business plans and contributes to the development of the EOS VCO functional strategy.

Context and Scope

The EOS Global Supply Chain Process Lead is a member of the VCO Center of Excellence within the EOS Business Transformation Office and reports into the BTO COE VCO Director.

The role ensures the EOS transformation is business-focused: business requirements are identified and documented, business problems are addressed, team priorities are aligned with business objectives and user experience is central to the way new processes are designed.

The role partners extensively with the following teams:

  • Global and regional VCO teams to ensure critical business requirements are delivered in the context of the Mars Digital Core transformation.

  • Digital Technology teams to translate business processes into system capabilities and ensure the digital platforms delivered drive maximum business value.

  • Program and Change Management teams to contribute to project and change management planning and execution activities.

  • Regional Deployment teams to gather local and regional requirements, validate business process design, prepare and execute a range of testing and training activities, and support go live and hyper care project phases.

  • Business Integrator teams participating in process design, configuration, development and deployment work.

Job Specifications/Qualifications

Education & Professional Qualifications

Business or Engineering School Degree

Knowledge / Experience

+ 10 years’ experience leading Supply Chain teams

Deep expertise in logistics operations, ideally built across several Mars divisions or from previous roles at other companies

Has led transformation programs

Has strong cross functional business knowledge

Key Functional Competencies & Technical Skills

End to end supply chain knowledge and expertise including inbound logistics, factory dispatch, stock replenishment, inventory management, warehouse management, 3PL Integration, inter-company business, stock allocation, customer delivery, transportation management, reverse logistics and product traceability.

Team Management.

Program and change management.

Process reengineering and optimization.

Technical savvy and an appetite for driving process improvement through technology and data analytics.

Relevant Quantitative and Budget Information

The EOS budget is managed at a program level.
