We’re looking for a Production Planner who can plan, control and optimize product stocks that are matching production needs to meet customers' demands who are seeking to make the best alternative possible.
What are we looking for?
Ideally, you’ll have experience in a similar position
Ability to plan, work with numbers
We want someone who is a confident PC user (SAP, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point)), production planning systems.
You’ll also need to hold College degree or Equivalent Level.
Preferably Bachelor's degree in engineering
What will be your key responsibilities?
Strategic Production Planning & Optimization
Develop weekly, mid-term, and long-term production plans, ensuring alignment with demand forecasts, capacity constraints, and business objectives.
Maximize production capacity utilization while balancing efficiency and flexibility.
Identify opportunities for process improvements in scheduling, changeovers, and resource allocation to enhance productivity.
Provide weekly production plans to the Inventory Controller, ensuring timely stock transfers to the RMB shopfloor.
Efficiently utilize raw materials (especially kibbles and empty bags) while considering recipe features such as shape, density, and allergens.
Leadership & Team Collaboration
Establish and maintain a strong relationship with production teams, fostering alignment and problem-solving.
Act as a key liaison between production, inventory, and supply planning teams to proactively resolve bottlenecks and ensure smooth operations.
Attend and contribute to daily FMOS meetings and morning briefings, providing input on production progress and challenges.
Shadow Supply Chain Manager and deliver Supply Chain Priorities
Advanced Data Analytics & System Improvements
Become an expert in ERP and planning tools (1NAV, RCLMS, E-Factory) and leverage data for better decision-making.
Monitor and analyze stock situations at Central Warehouse and coordinate with Supply Planning to address any issues.
Ensure Job Card closures with 100% compliance and zero stock variance, ensuring all planned production is successfully converted into finished goods.
Lead system improvements and implement automation in reporting, KPI tracking, and production scheduling tools.
Continuous Improvement & Process Standardization
Drive lean manufacturing initiatives and Six Sigma methodologies to reduce waste and improve efficiencies.
Be actively involved in Continuous Improvement (CI) projects related to production planning and inventory management.
Standardize and document best practices for production scheduling, ensuring consistency across operations.
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring production inefficiencies and implement corrective measures.
Record non-conformities in WMS/Navision based on operational reports and ensure timely resolution.
Quality, Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure production plans align with Quality & Food Safety (QFS) and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) guidelines.
Conduct weekly HSE/QFS Go & See audits, identifying potential risks and ensuring compliance.
Monitor product quality issues, damages, and material discrepancies, ensuring corrective actions are taken promptly.
Stay updated on new product launches and terminations, adapting production plans accordingly.
Stakeholder Management & Communication
Align production planning with campaigns, promotions, and internal/external customer requirements.
Strengthen collaboration with central supply planning and operations teams to optimize production efficiency.
Provide regular reports and insights to leadership, highlighting trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
Represent the production planning function in key business discussions and strategic decision-making forums.
