Here at Mars we now have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Planner to come and join our factory team! If you have a mechanical background and are looking for the opportunity to take on new challenges whilst also being given the chance to develop and progress personally then look at the below:
What are we looking for?
- Mechanical or Engineering background including a relevant qualification, apprenticeship, etc.
- Experience in an FMCG or high-speed production environment
- SAP literacy is desirable, or a good ability to learn new systems
- Experience within a planning function is highly desirable
What will be your key responsibilities?
- Receive and review Work requests. Determine if the Work request is complete and if the information is accurate.
- Consistently and constructively feedback to both the Operations and technical associates on work requests
- Work with the daily reliability and shift reliability teams on a daily and weekly basis to understand the SAP work orders that are to be placed on the daily and weekly work schedules.
- Prepare purchase orders and generate/update Bills of Materials when required
