The Supply Chain Planner is accountable for hands-on daily planning responsibilities within assigned portfolio. The role leverages business analysis to drive optimization and deliver objectives in the areas of inventory, service, activity execution and value leadership.
This role is the primary contact point within assigned portfolio, accountable for delivering on-shelf availability through optimized and enabled service of RC Canada business ambitions.
Supports execution of Supply Chain transformation, which drives the development of mid-long-term capabilities that support growth.
What are we looking for?
- University degree or college certification in a related discipline; preference will be given to candidates with backgrounds in Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, or other analytical fields.
- 3–5 years of direct experience in Supply Chain, Inventory Management (required).
- Proven experience collaborating with local and regional peers, as well as Supply Chain leadership teams, to drive operational excellence, achieve cost targets, and support strategic business objectives.
- Advanced Excel, (VBA, Pivot Tables, Complex Modeling, VLOOKUP).
- Intermediate PowerBI.
- MS Suite Experience (PowerPoint).
What will be your key responsibilities?
- Lead the segment SCMR, Sales & Operations Execution (“S&OE”) processes (including Recovery actions when needed) to orchestrate trade-off decisions with cross-functional and leadership teams to optimize SC performance and delivery of strategy.
- Accountable for connectivity of Canadian SCMR and S&OP escalations to Regional SCMR.
- Implement platform SC strategies to deliver against key metrics with other SC functions optimize strategies and tactics while ensuring full consideration/representation of E2E SC.
- Drive WOW effectiveness with Canadian SC Core, Regional SC and affiliates ties to Canadian Network.
- Driving Continuous Improvement culture throughout the Supply Chain.
- Serves as a Thought Leader on continuous quality improvement.
- Monitor critical E2E SC metrics that impact business outcomes and initiate crisis management and/or issue resolution with appropriate SC core/regional resources.
- Track and manage adherence to key KPI, root cause failure, driving counter measure actions.
- Evaluate ongoing production schedules generated by internal or external units to ensure maximum turns, minimal waste, including optimization of system & process planning parameters and solves within planning systems.
- Elimination of inventory waste through SLOB process (slow moving & obsolete stock).
- Identify and drive value leadership opportunities.
- Management & communication of activity deliverables (e.g. seasonal, promotions, innovation, discontinuations) projects as assigned.
