As the Field Sales Manager PRO, you will drive the achievement of sales growth for the BeNeLux breeder business, ensuring both qualitative and quantitative targets are met with maximum profitability. You will lead, develop, and motivate a high-performance sales team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration. You are responsible to build strong relationships with key opinion leaders to foster collaboration and brand presence in the community.
What will be your key responsibilities?
Strategic Sales Leadership:
Promote and distribute breeder ranges to Breeder & Shelters in BeNeLux, leveraging resources to maximize brand introduction and sponsorship alignment.Business Development:
Implement business strategies, negotiate annual sales terms, analyze market and competency, and set sales objectives for the team.Team Management:
Coach and motivate the sales team in the field, fostering high-performance collaboration and alignment with Royal Canin’s vision and values.Market Expansion and conversion:
Improve Royal Canin prescription rates and physical availability, creating and developing sales opportunities with both existing and new clients.Operational Excellence:
Manage budgets, drive continuous improvement, define and monitor KPIs, and implement lean methodologies.Forecasting & Planning:
Secure accurate demand plan forecasting and ensure high engagement to support company decisions and principles.
What are we looking for?
Higher (university) degree preferable in Veterinary Medicine, Management or Marketing.
3+ years people management experience. Proven track record in development and engagement of individuals and a team.
5+ years’ experience in field sales or Key clients
Passion ( and ideal knowledge) for cats, dogs and the breeder segment
Fluency in English written and spoken with professional level of Dutch and French.
Business travel is an important part of the job.
