Strategy Develop/Deploy
Develop the Regional Logistics & Services strategies and align it with key stakeholders in our E2E SC organization across the Markets.Define with the markets deployment roadmap and support the business transformation.
Accelerate transformation in Market Supply Chain to develop capability and optimal Distribution Network in APAC.
Deploy Global projects and lead Regional game-changing work streams.
Own the internal communication on Logistics and Services to the wider organization.
Deploy the sustainability initiatives in physical logistics in accordance with Mars/RC sustainability ambition.
Set HSE regional standards in 3PL network together with HSE team.
Create/Facilitate Center of Expertise
Establish a Community of Expertise with Global and Local SC focused on Logistics and Services with an aligned agenda.
Own the business process of Logistic and Services in Supply Chain
Create and share the Logistic and Services best practices playbooks
Perform external benchmarking to assess gaps and create a competitive edge
Represent the organization in key Logistics & Sustainability forums.
Business Performance
Challenge teams and unlock potential efficiencies of partnerships with logistics companies serving RC in all Markets
Provide guide, template, and approach to analyze and compare costs of logistics services.
Guidance about how to do right tenders and include key parameters before making decision in collaboration with MGS
Analyze, challenge, compare cost structure, the way we contract and spend (getting into details of DIB opportunities with 3PL). Ensure competitive bidding is in place and govern logistics contract compliance in markets.
Define and Develop with Mars Digital Business Partners, 1 Navision Business Leaders and external solutions providers the best systems solutions to support our Logistics and Services process.
Scope: inbound and outbound transportation; storage and handling, logistics services and digital commerce operations, etc.
Support the Markets
Provide the know-how, expertise, and insights to our E2E SC organizations in the transformations of Route to Markets and Customer Services scope.
Act as sparring partner for Market SC in the shaping of their SC Transformation agenda. Assist, when appropriate, Supply Chain heads in 3PL/transport suppliers for contract and SLA discussions.
Job Specifications/Qualifications
Must have: University degree (Master) / Fluent English
Nice to have: APICS (Basics of Supply Chain / CSCP)
>10 Years’ experience in Supply Chain and Logistics
Strong Leadership – Change agent skilled to drive mindset program through indirect control and influence - Project management
Sound interpersonal skills enabling the incumbent to work effectively within cross-functional Teams and external suppliers
