This position is part of the Royal Canin Korea Corporate Affairs team and reports to the Korea Corporate Affairs Head, a member of the Korea Leadership Team, while working in close collaboration with the APAC Regional Health Affairs team.
In line with Royal Canin’s ambition to become the reference in Health through Nutrition for cats and dogs, the Health Affairs function plays a critical role in driving Thought Leadership and delivering our scientific message to internal and external audiences, partners, and customers.
This role is responsible for enhancing the nutritional capabilities and knowledge of internal associates, as well as leading the development of educational platforms and academic content strategies for Royal Canin’s partners.
What are we looking for?
DVM degree or an equivalent Graduate University Degree in Animal Biology, Food Science, Food Safety or Human Nutrition
5+ years' experience in a Scientific Communication/Scientific Education function in the veterinary industry / Animal Health /Human Health & Nutrition Scientific role in an international context
Experience of technical, scientific, and nutrition issues in a business context
Excellent understanding and working knowledge of veterinary science, animal nutrition, and pet health.
Proven experience in developing and delivering scientific and educational content for diverse audiences.
Ability to analyze scientific research and translate complex data into accessible content.
Excellent communication skills, fluent in both spoken and written English and Korean
What will be your key responsibilities?
Nutrition Education Strategy & Execution
Accelerate digital learning: Collaborate with Global and Regional Health Affairs teams to accelerate the implementation of Digital Learning.
Scientific contents creation: Adapt global educational content to ensure relevance and effectiveness in the Korean market, and create tailored educational resources for veterinarians, vet technicians, veterinary students, and pet professionals.
Product & nutrition training: Design and deliver training programs on products and nutrition for new associates, Sales Representatives, and Consumer Care agents.
Internal expertise development: Partner with HR to strengthen nutrition expertise across all Associates, embedding nutrition knowledge into the organizational capability.
Product Evidence
Evidence gathering: Work with global and local teams to identify, collect, and analyze the latest scientific research supporting Royal Canin products.
Scientific materials development: Produce evidence summaries, and presentations that clearly highlight product efficacy and unique benefits.
Scientific Review
Content review: Evaluate communication and marketing materials from a health, disease, and nutrition perspective in collaboration with relevant teams.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Contribute to cross-functional teams, ensuring scientific accuracy in marketing, education, and training materials.
