As a key member of the Corporate Communications team, this position is responsible for promoting and protecting RC's (Royal Canin) reputation through innovative communication strategies that bridge expertise and impact.
The role will develop compelling storytelling to establish RC as an industry leader among professionals while fostering consumer trust through science-backed narratives. A passion for pets, creativity at heart and enthusiasm towards nurturing an energetic associate culture are essential to success.
What are we looking for?
Develop and execute integrated communication campaign and offline events combining traditional PR with innovative approaches (e.g., KOL co-creation, pet community engagement etc.)
Serve as the architect of B2B2C communication models, transforming professional content/events into consumer-influencing platforms through strategic KOL partnerships
Create content that translates scientific expertise into relatable narratives for non-expert audiences
Maintain media relationships, conduct media monitoring and handle enquiries with balanced focus on industry publications and pet owner channels
Handle crisis communications with agile response protocols for both professional and consumer audiences
Curate pet-centric storytelling assets for cross-functional use.
As the key contact person to deliver the correct corporate messages to pillars, other functions and other stakeholders
Support internal initiatives and projects that channel associates' passion for pets into brand advocacy
What will be your key responsibilities?
BS/BA in corporate or marketing communication, journalism, public relations, business or related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in communications and PR. Professional 2B & 2C communication experience is a plus.
Issues/crisis communications knowledge and experience
External & Digital media communication knowledge and experience
Excellent Communication skills in English and Chinese. Pet owner is a plus.
