Location: Royal Canin (Freemont, NE)
Royal Canin is seeking a Education & Training Coordinator to join our exciting pet food business at a Freemont, NE manufacturing plant. We focus on the unique needs of cats and dogs. Our obsession with detail allows us to deliver precise, effective nutrition and help them become their magnificent best.

Facilitate Onboarding
In the most efficient manner possible, will facilitate all onboarding for new hires and provide continuous improvement feedback to E&T Lead to drive improvements to the onboarding program.
MSE E&T Backup Pillar Lead, Training and Associate Development
MSE Education and Training Backup Pillar Lead and all responsibilities associated with the pillar such as coaching all associates on MSE E&T standards, meeting cadence, health checks, 90-day plan, 1 year implementation plan, charter, KPI’s and recognition. (pillar management)
Factory capability framework:
Facilitate the role profiling methodology to build clear inventories of responsibilities and required skills and knowledge to identify gaps and then use to build training course and curriculum. Develop Step up Cards based on the role profile methodology. Maintain the factory skills matrices, ensuring this is kept up to date with the outputs of Associate validation. Facilitate the Factory Skills Gap Assessment Process to develop a prioritized annual plan for training activity.
Knowledge Capture:
Facilitate the OPL process (One point lessons) to ensure these communication tools are managed effectively. Ensure appropriate knowledge management methodologies are applied to maintain, share and update recorded knowledge within the sites information structure. Facilitate the Training design and development methodology with support from the Subject Matter Experts (i.e. Operations, Safety, QF&S, etc.). Training & Coaching on all E&T processes, systems and tools.
Knowledge Transfer
Establish the global E&T Expert Trainer programs and On the Job Trainers at the site. Facilitate the Administration of Training processes which includes proper storage of OPLs, Standard Work (9I), Role Profiles, Skills Matrices, and Step up Cards. Also includes updating and monitoring site training calendar and updating training courses. Provide leadership, objectives, feedback, and performance coaching to all associates involved in site education and training programs, especially on the job trainers and expert trainers. Accountable for integrity and deployment consistency & accuracy of site course and appropriate validation tools to confirm Associate capability. Create and support framework to ensure successful onboarding for new associates according standard.
Additional Training Responsibilities
Identify the necessary resources to provide training.
Utilize Training Center if available.
Coordinate with CVS to update training manuals, SWI and SOPs based on equipment upgrades and/or other change management processes and integrate into the annual training plan.
