The Finance Business Partner – Market Strategy & Growth plays a critical role in copiloting the business to identify and unlock growth opportunities across the West Europe Cluster (Austria, Belgium, Germany, Netherlands, Switzerland). This includes shaping recommendations on portfolio management, innovation, and investment choices, all grounded in robust market
insights.
In this role, you will partner closely with Market Strategy & Growth Acceleration team to translate market trends into actionable financial strategies. You will provide forward-looking analysis, scenario planning, and recommendations that enable the cluster to prioritize initiatives and allocate resources effectively. By combining financial expertise with a deep understanding of market dynamics, you will help steer the business toward sustainable growth and deliver on strategic ambitions.
Beyond its strategic impact, this position offers a strong development platform and can serve as a potential springboard toward
future leadership or management responsibilities within the team.
What are we looking for?
- Master degree in Corporate Finance, Economics, Marketing, Strategy or Management
- 5-10 years of experience
- Demonstrate a significant experience in business partnering
- Worked in multicultural environment
- Having worked in an FMCG environment is a plus
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory •
- Dutch, German, French is a plus
What will be your Key Responsibilities
- Step up the return on investment capabilities of the cluster (Implement tool that allow pre and post analyses for each investment).
- Co-pilot the marketing budget, provide visibility on current spend, forecast and budget. Make recommendations and where to Invest.
- Build P&Ls for innovations upfront of launch decision.
- Co-pilot the product mix performance and - in collaboration with the MS&GA team - make recommendations on which categories to push.
- Support the cluster in digitalization of reporting and create the new (PowerBI dashboard, implementation of new business intelligence system, etc…).
- Design, develop and continuously improve relevant reporting on the Royal Canin portfolio performance
- Support Marketing & Sales teams in driving the Strategic Revenue management agenda, pricing decisions, pack sizes and innovation needs
- Work with Marketing teams to generate key insights from external market data
