The ROYAL CANIN Sr. Director, Marketing is the senior leader over the Healthy Pet portfolio in North America and responsible for the creation, sell-in, and execution of the healthy pet portfolio for Royal Canin in North America. Further, the role serves as the Head of Marketing for the PSRO Business Unit, leading all go-to-market activities including product launches, trade and retailer marketing, and category development. This role is a key member of the PSRO Leadership Team and is a crucial adviser to the Business Unit General Managers, Functional Leads, Global counterparts, Regional President and others.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- 15 years or more of combined Marketing and/or Sales experience in a relevant field/category
- Minimum 5 years of Leadership experience
- CPG experience preferred
What will be your key responsibilities?
- Lead North American inputs into Global Processes for project selection, sizing, strategic fit
- Develop and drive portfolio architecture, innovation pipeline, local innovation
- Own and grow the Health Pet Portfolio to accelerate the growth of while optimizing promotional spend to improve margin and profitability
- Establish a connection and proactively communicate with other leaders across different functions (local, regional, global)
- Develop and drive overall marketing strategies to deliver the revenue and margin goals while delivering YoY growth rates
- Support RCNA and Retailer growth thru Category support
- Lead a team of ~ 10 with 2 direct reports
- Agency and other vendor management
- Develop and manage annual budgets
