Aligned with the 5 principles and our safety & quality Mars Standards, the main purposes of this role are: to manage & coordinate logistic operations with relevant stakeholders (Logistic Service Providers & RC team) within cluster distribution network and to drive continuous improvement plans across logistic activities.
What would be your key responsibilities?
- Manage relationships with Logistic Service Provider (LSP) (Freight in/warehousing/Freight To customers).
- Manage Logistic cost budget in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
- Monitor Activities & Performance (Cost, cash & service) of LSP to meet Service Level Agreement (SLA) per customer categories.
- Deploy & maintain Mars Quality standards into the LSP RC activities.
- Manage continuous improvement plan (DiB) rollout.
- Develop strong level of collaboration with European Supply Chain communities.
- Bring expertise to provide sales & marketing teams a functional support to operate specific operations, active role within S&OP+ process.
- Support Market SC team to solve logistic issue linked with the distribution network by taking relevant position in the relation with the Local stakeholders.
- Build, engage & develop a logistic team per market (accordingly to SC Organization design).
- Hold a role of Cluster Key user about Logistic Information systems (Interfaces ERP /WMS/TMS/…).
- Lead the Logistics coordinator, build development plan, work continuously on personal and functional improvement.
- Support the transformation of clusters merge, build the capabilities together.
- In connection with regional teams to bring the best practices and implement them in line with our strategy.
What are we looking for?
- 8+ years’ experience in Logistic management in a FMCG company.
- Preferred qualification: Master/ Post Graduate Degree in Supply chain or Business administration.
- Broad business knowledge with a track record of success in FMCG Warehousing/Transport functions.
- Cluster logistic market knowledge.
- People management Experience is a must.
- Fluency in English and Polish, valuable with an additional Cluster language.
- Valuable with APICS-CPIM / CPF degree or equivalent.
- Systems knowledge: advanced skills using Microsoft Excel for data analysis, experience using Navision/1NAV and WMS are preferable, as well as experience of using office productivity software (such as Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint etc.).
- Travel ability as Frequent Business travel within Cluster will be required.
