Health, Safety & Environment Manager (f/m/x)

What will be your key responsibilities?

• Leading Safety and Environmental agenda in the plant.

• Support the plant manager in ensuring people’s safety.

• Develop and promote a safety culture in collaboration with the Site Leadership Team

• Collaborate with operational, technical, planning, and continuous improvement departments, as well as other departments, in implementing people’s safety measures locally.

• Identify improvement opportunities; prepare feasibility studies, recommend solutions, and lead selected projects.

• Develop monitoring tools and support the process of tracking, reporting, and visualizing safety results.

• Track and ensure compliance with corporate safety standards.

• Identify key competency gaps in the production area and support the process of filling them (Mars University, e-learning courses, internal and external training).

• Ensure compliance with ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001, corporate guidelines.

• As a member of the RNI Management Team, actively participate in the implementation of the corporate Mars Supply Excellence program aimed at achieving strategic objectives (CBN). Specifically involved in implementing the pillar related to people’s safety and environmental protection.

What are we looking for?

• Completed master's degree and postgraduate studies in OHS (Occupational Health and Safety).

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the safety and environmental protection department gained in manufacturing environment.

• Strong knowledge of safety programs and environmental regulations.

• Proven track record implementing safety standards and increasing people awareness and engagement in this field.

• People leadership competencies would be a great advantage.

• Proven track record collaborating with regional and/or global teams.

• Fluent communication skills in Polish and English required.
