As our Student Associate – Communications, you will be a valued member of the Corporate Affairs team, working in close partnership with the North Europe Communications Manager and People and Organisation (P&O) team, helping to engage and inspire over 250 associates across North Europe (Denmark, United Kingdom, Ireland, Norway, Sweden and Finland).
The job is part-time, approx. 20 hours spread over minimum 2 days a week.
The role entails plenty of personal responsibility, varied tasks and broad exposure in the organization. To be successful, we are looking for someone who is a natural storyteller, able to build networks across the business and able to thrive in a complex and fast paced environment.
Key areas of responsibilities are:
- Partner with People and Organization (P&O) on the culture and engagement strategy for North Europe, such as rolling out our associate engagement plan, recognition workstream or bringing to life engagement events such as volunteering days through the Mars Volunteering Programme (MVP)
- Support the North Europe Communications Manager by owning aspects of the internal communications annual plan, such as the content and engagement plan for Viva Engage
- Ad-hoc administrative and project management support, such as maintaining distribution lists, managing the internal communications inbox and reporting on project success
- Bring to life our purpose: Better World for Pets, and our precises nutrition through engagement and communication initiatives
- This role will mostly focus on internal communications, but you might at times support the external communications agenda by working with alongside the Communications Manager and communications agency on developing stories and campaigns, as well as ensuring the brilliant basics are in place and up to date.
Who are we looking for?
- A driven, structured and creative student who is hands-on and is not afraid to take action
- Excellent storytelling and communication skills
- Project management and events management skills
- 1-3 years left of Communications, Human Resources, Psychology, Marketing, Business Administration or equivalent studies
- Strong English proficiency and one (or more) Nordic language are required
- Interest in content creation and design skills are a plus
